We keep a lot of these on hand at our contracting company. They are easy to use, rugged and get the job done. The simple design is basically idiot-proof and the ability to trace on both active and dead lines adds to the versatility.

Picked up a new unit for work. Pretty simple to put together and operate. Sound output is adequate. Works for me because traces the path and determines the depth of wires and metallic pipes on active or dead systems without having to deactivate the system. I am happy!

Can't really argue with the price on this unit. Traces a wire or cable really well but you dont look too cool doing it! Can't really complain about the unit other than that.

Been using one of these at work and finally picked up my own. I definitely like having my own tools as they can last a heck of a lot longer than sharing. Very easy locator to use, hook up and go!
