The CPS VG200 is a state of the art digital electronic vacuum gauge designed to accurately monitor the evacuation process from start to finish.  The VG200 is calibrated to strict NIST standard and uses a self-heated thermistor sensor that cannot be damaged from exposure to positive pressure or oil mist. 

The use of a vacuum gauge is essential to insure that a repaired or newly installed system is clear of contaminants. Improper evacuation can lead to costly recalls and repairs. 

The VG200 provides continual digital readout of the evacuation process on the large 5 digit LCD. The vacuum gauge uses a two button operation. One button for turning the unit on and off and the other one for selecting the unit of measurement Microns, Torr, in/hg or mBarr.

The VG200 advanced ambient compensating design automatically compensates for varying temperature conditions with no manual adjustments needed.

The sensor is easy to clean to ensure accurate performance and is able to withstand 400 PSI of positive pressure.

In addition, the digital vacuum gauge uses a unique vacuum pump check design to test the performance of a vacuum pump before the pump is used in the evacuation process. This feature helps to indicate if the vacuum pump has accumulated contaminated oil that can interfere with the performance of the vacuum pump.  

The micron gauge operates 25 hours on a 9V battery and includes a built in low battery indicator and an auto-off feature.
