Dust Free is a family-owned and operated business near Dallas, Texas. The company began as a result of the family’s sensitivities to allergens such as dust, pollen, and mold and the need to purify their indoor air from these allergens for health reasons. Finding nothing on the market that effectively and safely removed these allergens from his home, Gil Burnett started designing filters. His doctor, Dr. Donald Sprague of the Environmental Health Center of Dallas, Texas, approved of these filters and began to refer patients to Gil for similar products.
The production of Dust Free filters began in 1983 in Gil’s garage but soon needed to expand to a larger building to accommodate the growing demand for filters. In 1985, work on the development of new room and auto air purifiers began. The increased demand for the company’s filters and air purifying products required Dust Free to obtain a larger manufacturing space. This 37,000 sq. ft. space in Royce City, Texas is where they are still manufacturing their wide variety of air purification products to help allergy patients in both residential and business locations.
Dust Free developed the IAQ3 platform that integrates three levels of air quality products to provide a complete IAQ solution for improved indoor air quality.
