Easy to use, compact
I own a landscaping company in the Metro Dallas area and it gets pretty hot and humid. My supervisors can carry these in their pockets, test the heat index and pace the work day accordingly. I would recommend this product and great customer service as well.
Easy to understand
This meter gives you a simple way to make sure environmental conditions are good for outdoor activity and requires no training to use. Would recommend to any supervisors with workers outside.
Works well but feels a little cheap
Been using this instrument for a while and no real complaints except the plastic housing feels a little junky.
I ma actually a kids football coach on the west coast and this meter helps me to make sure the conditions outside are safe for the kids and you can plan to keep them hydrated etc. I'm sure it has more technical uses but works good for me.
We used this for our daughters science experiment to test the heat near the surface of different parts of our neighborhood. Neat and helped her get a blue ribbon.
I'm the athletic director at a prep school on the west coast and it gets pretty hot in the summers. This is an easy way to make sure the heat level is appropriate to practice the kids. Recommended.
