Fieldpiece VC1 Valve Core Removal Tool Ultra Compact

The Fieldpiece VC1 is a ¼” ultra-compact valve core removal tool, perfect for those tight spaces to improve a technician’s efficiency when performing system charging, recovery, and evacuation tasks. The Fieldpiece VC1 has a short length and low-profile ball valve, allowing the valve core removal tool to fit into tight spaces. The Fieldpiece VC1 Valve Core Removal Tool (VCRT) features a capture rod that reliably engages the valve core for the first time without fishing to find the lost valve cores.

The removal of a valve core helps speed up charging & recovery operations. VCRTs remove the valve core from service valves in air conditioning, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems to replace defective cores and provide an unobstructed flow of refrigerant for faster servicing. The Fieldpiece valve core removal VC1 features a capture tip in the interior gasket that the valve core pin presses into to secure it for removal. In addition, the Fieldpiece VC1 includes a magnet in the cap to prevent the removed valve core from getting lost.

The valve core removal tool is rated for high-pressure refrigerants, including R410a, and is A2L compliant. The VC1 is rated to 20 microns.

The Fieldpiece VCRT has a ¼” service port fitting that can be swapped in the field with an optional 5/16” (not included) service port fitting for mini-split systems.
