The Ideal 61-959 SureTrace Circuit Tracer kit for Closed and Open Circuits takes care of any circuit tracing needs, either tracing wires behind walls or finding breakers. The receiver features a rotatable display showing numeric values (0 to 99) for easy wire or breaker finding, while the transmitter will work on energized or un-energized circuits. The Ideal Suretrace 61 959 is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase.

This ultimate wire tracer kit comes with additional inductive clamp for tracing circuits, when a tech does not have access to bare wires or electrical outlet. The additional battery pack serves as a signal booster for tracing either underground cables or wire in a metallic conduit.
The Ideal wire tracer kit also pinpoints to opens and shorts. The 61-959 receiver is equipped with a variable strength signal tone, which surely helps when locating wires or breakers.

What is the real advantage of Ideal SureTrace circuit tracer wire locating system?
While most traditional wire tracers use a series of LED lights to indicate the strength of the receiver’s signal, the Ideal SureTracer shows a numerical value from 0 to 99. The traditional receiver’s LED signal strength lights are not stable, with blinking lights that can change from 3 to 4 lights and then switching back and forth. In addition, it can also be confusing and frustrating to find the corresponding breaker to a circuit when you see the same LED signal on two breakers with the tracer’s receiver.
In contrast, the Ideal tracers uses a digital system in which the receiver displays a number such as 75 or 88. The higher the number the stronger the signal. In addition, the receiver also has a variable pitch tone that increases when the signal is stronger. These features makes it easy to quickly identify the correct breaker for the circuit that is connected to the transmitter.
