Inficon Compass HVAC Refrigerant Leak Detector
Inficon Compass Leak Detector 717-202-G1 features innovative heated diode sensor technology - providing exceptional sensitivity to all refrigerants, yet resisting other contaminants such as dust, dirt, and oil. The Inficon Compass Refrigerant Leak Detector operates on rechargeable batteries or AC power, has adjustable high/low sensitivities, and a ergonomic rubberized grip handle for easy one-handed operation.
Key Features:
- Sensitivity of 0.15 oz/year (4 g/year)
- Detects all CFC, HCFCS, HCFs, and HFOS
- Runs on rechargeable battery or AC adapter
- Heated diode for reliable leak checking
- Advanced filter to keep out water, dirt , and oil
- Made in USA
The Inficon Compass can detect a variety of refrigerants including R22, R134A, R404A, R448A, R507 (AZ-50), R32, HFO1234yf and all other CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, HFOs as well as SF6. The leak detector has a sensitivity of 0.15 oz/year (4 g/a) on HIGH sensitivity and 1.2 oz/year (34 g/a) on LOW sensitivity with an automatic background adjustment (“zeroing”) that compensates for refrigerant build-up in the testing area. If a leak is discovered, the LEDs illuminate progressively to show leak size.
The probe tip-mounted, electrochemical, heated-diode sensor provides improved sensitivity for reliable leak checking. The sensor is protected from contaminants and moisture from the advanced water-resistant foam filter at the end of the probe.
The refrigerant leak detector has an intuitive operation, and an ergonomic design with a rubberized grip that is easy to hold. The leak detector runs on rechargeable NiMH batteries or an A/C adapter. There is also a power indicator that indicates when the battery is low. The Compass can even be operated while charging with the included car and wall chargers. The Compass is proudly made in the USA.
