Klein Tools ET110 Carbon Monoxide CO Meter 1000 ppm

The Klein Tools ET110 is an easy to use Carbon Monoxide CO Meter with an electrochemical sensor that detects and measures concentration levels of carbon monoxide as well as temperature. The Klein Tools Carbon Monoxide Meter ET110 measures carbon dioxide up to 1000 ppm and temperature from 32° to 122°F (0° to 50°C). Handheld carbon monoxide meters are great tools for protecting HVAC technicians from an unsafe level of CO present in ambient air.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that is life-threatening even at low concentrations and is produced by the incomplete combustion of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels. CO is produced by devices that burn fuel like furnaces, water heaters, and boilers. For safety, any professionals working in areas where carbon monoxide could be present should use a handheld CO meter to determine whether the specific level of carbon monoxide in a given space is safe.

The Klein Tools ET110 Carbon Monoxide Meter has visual and audible alarms (which can be muted) to alert the user if the short-term exposure limit (STEL) of CO concentration (200 ppm) and OSHA/NIOSH 8-hour exposure limit level (35 ppm) are detected. The warning indicator light flashes green when conditions are safe, and flashes red with an audible alarm when CO levels over 35 ppm are detected.

Other features of the ET110 Klein Tools are a backlit LCD screen that displays CO measurements from 0 to 1000 ppm, a HOLD button to hold the current measurement on the display, a TEMP button that toggles between °F and °C, and automatic shut-off after 20 minutes of no usage. The Klein ET110 is not intended for use as personal protection equipment.
