Moisture Content Meter

Moisture is prevalent in our environment and it can be beneficial or potentially cause some problems. Many industries use moisture meters in their manufacturing processes to control the amount of moisture in finished products, both in the production process and storage warehouses. Production managers and quality control personnel rely on these instruments to control moisture. They use either contact or non-contact testers. The main difference between the two types is the way they measure moisture. Contact meters pierce material leaving some marks, and non-contact use sensors incorporated into them to detect moisture level. Both types of instruments display percentage moisture content in a given material, and such a reading is then compared against established standards.
