MRU AMPRO 2000 Combustion Emission Analyzer
The MRU AMPRO 2000 is a powerful, handheld, industrial combustion and emission analyzer that can be equipped with up to 5 electrochemical sensors and a single or dual gas IR-bench (sensor) to simultaneously measure up to 7 gases including O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2 as well as CO-high, and CO-very high. In addition, the Ampro 2000 can measure combustion air temperature, stack gas temperature, stack draft, differential pressure, and differential temperature. The industrial combustion analyzer can also calculate CO/CO2 ratio, dew point, excess air and air ratio, combustion efficiency, and heat loss.

Accurate combustion analysis is an important tool for the proper operation and maintenance of any combustion process to provide the highest combustion efficiency. In the combustion process, additional chemicals are formed such as CO, NO, NO2, SO2, soot and ash which can be harmful to the environment. Monitoring these emissions to provide the highest combustion efficiency provide a variety of benefits such as lower fuel cost, less pollutants being emitted into the atmosphere, and identifying and preventing maintenance problems of the equipment.
The MRU 2000 industrial analyzer can be used with over 20 different fuels types as well as configured with up to 7 different sensors, and probes to provide the most accurate diagnostic information for commercial and industrial applications. In addition, the gas analyzer has true NOx measurement plus O2 referencing to provide the most accurate information for tuning.
Additional features for the handheld gas analyzer include ability to measure gas temperature up to 2012° F using the Inconel tubes and up to 1200° F using the stainless steel probe.
The AMPRO gas analyzer features a large integrated condensate trap with a Teflon coated filter and back-light. The combustion analyzer has internal storage for up to 16,000 data sets and integrated SD Card reader for additional data storage and data transfer to a PC. It also comes with an IR interface for an external printer which is an optional purchase.
The AMPRO 2000 super bright, color, 3.5” LCD display with a backlight and zooming capabilities allows easy viewing of your data. The analyzer is slim, lightweight, and easy to use with menu guided software and function keys. Magnets on the back provide hands free operation.
The Li-Ion rechargeable battery has up to 15 hours operation time under regular operating conditions and approximately 6 hours with NDIR sensor.
