Accuracy is 0.05% 'of reading', 0.02% 'of full scale', or 0.05% 'of full scale' - so any XP3i can typically replace several gauges you may have been using. The XP3i is fully temperature compensated – so there is no change in accuracy throughout the entire operating temperature range! The XP3i's case is made from rugged aluminum alloy, fully sealed against dust and water intrusion. Even the USB port is sealed. Circuitry is mounted in shock-absorbing elastomer supports and the batteries are accessible by removing four screws. However, you won’t need to change the batteries often, since 3 AA batteries operate this pressure gauge for up to 1500 hours of continuous use.
Now with USB-C and Bluetooth connections, a free mobile app, and a cloud software service, you can share stored files with any colleague with internet access. In addition, if a recording of a pressure test is required, add the DataLoggerXP upgrade (sold separately) to open a wide range of features and functions.
Features
With a Bluetooth connection, you can:
With the DataLoggerXP upgrade (sold separately)
With the new CrystalControlWeb cloud software (free for download)
…and adds game-changing features
Collect readings with the XP3i pressure gauge
CrystalControlWeb cloud software
CrystalControlWeb (CCW) is a new cloud software to manage, customize, save, and download stored data logging runs from the XP3i. CCW is accessed through any web browser, making your pressure gauge's data available to your colleagues worldwide within minutes of collecting it. In addition, CCW includes free features to customize your pressure gauge, like adding and removing units, and features to maximize your reporting options. The cloud service stores all reporting data for easy retrieval, or you can export it to a spreadsheet or pdf file.
CrystalConnect mobile application
The new mobile application lets you communicate with your pressure gauge via Bluetooth. This wireless connection eliminates the need for cables, software drivers, and a PC. Your phone is all you need to view live data and download stored data from the XP3i. Furthermore, connecting to the pressure gauge wirelessly lets you leave the gauge connected in a hazardous area and download the data without removing it.
No menus. No manual? No problem!
Dropped, submerged, over-pressurized and it still reads accurately!
Would you know if your gauge was broken?
Some sensors and bourdon gauges read incorrectly after deforming under pressure. You would never know your gauge is broken until you compare it to a reference. This gauge's silicon sensors shatter at very high pressure, but never deform. They always return to their original shape and accuracy, even after accidental overpressure. The gauge's self-diagnostics will indicate a damaged sensor, preventing operation and protecting you from erroneous readings.
Used everywhere
Consistent performance in the coldest places on earth - Northern Canada
XP3i proves itself - Middle East
The same accuracy at any temperature - temperature compensated
Free calibration certificate included - with all data!
Now record 200 million data points
When you purchase a DataLoggerXP (sold separately) model, you transform your XP3i into a portable pressure data logger. Leave your pressure gauge on location as it records and timestamps readings for months at a time. Start and stop recordings with a single button and store multiple data sets.
DataLoggerXP (sold separately) is ideal for:
One XP3i replaces multiple test gauges
Your savings start because of the 0.05% of reading accuracy - the highest in class for handheld test gauges. Of scale gauges must be used as close as possible to their full-scale value to maximize accuracy, but the XP3i doesn't have this issue as its of reading accuracy allows it to maintain its accuracy over a wide range. Using this pressure gauge is like carrying multiple conventional gauges.
Save on recalibration costs
All electronic equipment is subjected to long-term shifts in its accuracy, thus requiring recalibration. However, because you only purchased one XP3i instead of four or more conventional gauges, you only have to recalibrate one instead of five. These savings continue each year when it’s recalibration time.
Maintained accuracy
The XP3i is built on the long-term success and reliability of the industry favorite XP2i. We know from our decade-plus years of customer feedback that when the gauge is due for recalibration, it often doesn’t need any adjustments. This leads most companies to perform a pressure check, bypassing a full recalibration if possible. This continued accuracy further reduces and sometimes eliminates recalibration costs.
Last longer
The XP3i is designed to perform effectively, even in the harshest environments. From extensive improvements in drop protection design to moving the everyday wear to a replaceable adapter to multiple environmental improvements, durability is one of the XP3i’s strongest features. This leads to the gauge lasting much longer than conventional equipment, further lowering the overall cost of ownership.
Tracking calibration intervals
Keeping track of the calibration intervals for all test equipment can be a challenging task in which human error can occur. Calibration stickers or certificates can be misplaced or lost, or the technician may not notice that the gauge is beyond its calibration dates. Even if a company has a system to keep track of these dates, it still requires somebody to notify the technician when recalibrations are due. It also requires the technician to remove the gauge from service once they are notified.
In some industries, auditing of test equipment may result in significant fines if it’s found that a gauge was used beyond its calibration due date.
Never miss a calibration again with the XP3i
Multiple options available
Reminders:
Cloud management
While the XP3i will alert users of impending calibration needed, long-term planning is easily attainable using the cloud software CrystalControlWeb. By entering all owned gauges into your CrystalControlWeb organization, you will have all calibration information in one central location. Managing and planning all gauge calibrations becomes a much more manageable task, and assuring that gauges are not used past their recalibration dates becomes much easier.
Pressure safety valve test
No more guess work. Simply enable this feature to enable a special Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) mode. This gauge captures and displays the relief pressure even if you're not looking at the gauge when the valve opens.
Leak rate
On the Dual Line Display (-DD Model, sold separately), view leak rate or a tared value along with live pressure at the same time. If you have an upgraded version with data logging (sold separately), the second display shows the amount of recorded points.
Custom units
Define custom pressure units with CrystalControlWeb. For example, you can define feet of seawater, tank level, or any torque (N-m or ft-lbs).
Activate the features you need: Simplify your XP3i with CrystalControlWeb software by selecting only the functions you use. Store multiple configurations on your computer, or set all your XP3i gauges to work the same way.
With CrystalControlWeb and your XP3i you can:
