BinMaster’s BMRX-300 rotary level switch is the first to feature a highly-visible, built-in LED indicator light. Easily seen from a distance, the bright LED changes from green to red when the paddle stops turning when the bin is full or empty. The BinMaster BMRX-300 rotary level indicator is used in solids and powders to prevent overfills, dry runs, or process shutdowns. It has an onboard PCB and DPDT relays that allow users to set up two switching outputs, such as one to a covered and the other to an uncovered condition.

Fail-safe operation, self-diagnostics, and immediate and corrective response to failures distinguish the BMRX-300 as the best rotary for process control. Its red LED light visually alerts to fault, covered, or rotating status conditions. The BMRX-300 rotary level indicator power pac features a screw-off cover, 3/4" NPT dual conduit entries, and an FDA-recognized powder coat finish.

Once installed, the enclosure can be rotated. This unique feature makes it easy to ensure conduit entries are always pointed toward the ground, mitigating the risk of moisture damaging internal components. New wire guides also ensure wires don’t get stuck as you push them through conduit entries.

  • Alerts to high- mid- low-levels: Like all BinMaster rotaries, the BMRX-300 is used as a high-level alert to prevent overfilling vessels (when mounted near the bottom or in the cone of the vessel, it alerts to low levels to avoid material shortages that can lead to shutting down production processes)
  • For tall vessels, install an additional BMRX-300 at a desired point, say you want to know when the bin is half full (this comes in handy when you’re unloading grain wagons and want to know how much room is left)
  • Highly-visible LED light: The light is green while the paddle is turning. When the paddle is stopped by material, a relay closes to indicate a change in status, and the light changes to red.
  • The light is housed in the lid of the rotary, there’s no extra wiring to an external light. When the BMRX-300 is mounted on the side of the vessel, the bright green or red light is visible from 100' away.
