The BMRX-100 is an affordable paddle-style switch for point-level indications with purely mechanical components and two microswitches to indicate a covered condition—no electronics involved. When the material fills to the level of the indicator paddle, it causes the paddle to stop rotating indicating a covered condition. When the material falls away, the paddle resumes rotating to indicate an uncovered condition. It is designed for use with free-flowing solids and powders with a bulk density of 2 pounds to over 100 pounds per cubic foot, in ordinary storage and processing conditions.
Wire the BMRX-100 rotary to light or horn to alert to high or empty levels and use the relay to start or stop a process such as augers or conveyor belts to prevent overfilling bins or eliminate dry runs. By alerting to full and empty vessel conditions, it prevents waste and saves time when handling bulk materials stored in bins and silos. The BMRX-100 rotary level indicator power pack features a screw-off cover, 3/4" (1.91 cm) NPT dual conduit entries, an SPDT mechanical switch, and an FDA-recognized powder coat finish. Once installed, the enclosure can be rotated.
This unique feature makes it easy to ensure conduit entries are always pointed toward the ground, mitigating the risk of moisture damaging internal components. New wire guides also ensure wires don’t get stuck as you push them through conduit entries. BinMaster coupling mounting plates allow the rotary to be top or side-mounted, tailored to specific point-level detection needs, whether vertical, horizontal, or angled installations. With a wide selection of paddle options, the BMRX-100 rotary adapts to light, medium, and heavy-weight bulk material.
