ElektroPhysik 80-124-0001 Offers

Specially designed to work in rough environments and on abrasive surfaces, the MiniTest 650F features a backlit display and a fixed external probe with a one-meter sensor cable. The newly developed one-pole sensor is made of a wear-and-tear-resistant carbide material to ensure a virtually unlimited life cycle under normal conditions. A rubber-rimmed casing for impact protection in the field combined with ease of use provides extended mechanical life on the one hand and high accuracy on the other. A USB interface connects this coating thickness gauge to a PC for online measurements or statistical display.

Features

  • Coating thickness measurement from 0 to 3mm
  • Resolution of 0.01 mils (1 micron)
  • Interchangeable measuring units µm or mils
  • Enables 1-point and 2-point calibrations
  • Magnetic induction sensor according to DIN EN ESO 2808, method 7CU
  • Impact-protected housing for use in tough environments
  • Wear-resistant probe tips with practically unlimited durability
  • USB-interface to transfer data to a PC
  • Statistical evaluation of readings (mean value, standard deviation, number of readings, minimum and maximum)

Applications

  • Robust and perfectly suited to coating thickness measurement in harsh conditions and on abrasive surfaces such as:
  • Sandblasted steel
  • Heavy duty corrosion protection in ship building
  • Offshore installations and mining facilities
  • Plasma-sprayed surfaces
