The FLIR Thermal Imager:

The TS32r is the ultimate combination of long distance and light weight. With a 65mm lens and 320x240 pixel detector, it does not have the +2km range of the BTS Bi-Ocular systems, but the TS32r is half the weight and still has a maximum range out to 1200 yards. Thermal technology provides useable images at distances where I2 night vision is un-useable. When stably mounted this imager provides exceptional distance.

The ScoutBasecamp Kit:

For when you really need to reach out there. We've included a tripod system to keep the FLIR unit steady for extended observation. We've including a Kestrel 4500 to give you the most accurate wind measurements and weather updates. Package it all together in a tactical carrying case to keep your FLIR dry (the unit is still waterproof) and throw in a vehicle charger in case you end up waiting out a storm in the truck.

  • Kestrel Tripod: This Kestrel brand tripod will keep your weather meter, thermal imager, or digital camera stable in the outdoors. Its 5 section legs extends to 51 inches maximum hieght, and collapse down to 14 inches in length.
  • FLIR Tactical Case: Padded to protect the FLIR, and subtly labeled as a FLIR compartment, this soft cloth compartment is one of the best ways to carry the larger TS series cameras.
  • FLIR Vehicle Charger: Keep your imager fully charged for extended trips by using the proprietary vehicle charger.
