Moreover, this camera tester has five sound sample modes that can simulate partial discharges, gas leaks, and mechanical faults for demonstrations.
Use the acoustic camera tester to check the accuracy of the FLIR Si124, Si124-LD, Si124-PD, Si124-LD Plus, Si2-PRO, Si2-LD, and Si2-PD acoustic imaging cameras (sold separately). The tester generates a sound signal that is recognized and evaluated by the camera. The dB-level of the signal can be used to ensure a correct level of readings and also the condition of the microphone array. Furthermore, it is recommended to check the Si-series acoustic cameras (sold separately) every six months with the acoustic tester, especially if you have dropped it, it has suffered a blow, or if it has gathered a significant amount of dust.
