Signal processing takes place in high performance DSPs which are extremely precise and operate at very high resolution. This enables the device to achieve internal resolution of under 0.001 m/s flow velocity. And since the transit time measurement is purely digital, the measurement electronics are virtually drift and calibration-free. Uses ultrasonic transit time difference with AFC technology. Oscilloscope function allows graphical display and analysis of signals. Intuitive via 8 main keys (Soft Keys) with a plain text display. The QME05 comes with QMF-F05 ultrasonic transducers for transit time measurement of 0.5 MHz.
Optionally upgrade for energy measurements. Order QME05 kit which includes temperature sensors for energy measurement, or order this kit and upgrade later with purchase of the temperature sensors, QMF-PT100. The two temperature sensors (feed and return pipe) can be connected in order to measure heat/thermal output. The flow transmitter always includes the capability for heat/thermal output measurement. Note that (if required by customer) the QMF-PT100 inputs can also be used to reset the counters. If you use this reset function, it cannot measure heat/thermal output at same time.
