The Gen-Eye SL-SDN-A pipe and sewer inspection set comes with self-leveling camera to keep the picture the right side up and for easy recognition of damage location and orientation. 16 powerful bright LED lights illuminate pipes of up to 10” in diameter.
The camera is equipped with built-in 512 Hz transmitter for locating position of a camera head underground with a cable locator. This feature secures faster repairs in the field.
A large 10.4” color LCD screen shows sharp pictures, and a full size waterproof keyboard mounted in the control unit enables entering comments – up to 9 lines per screen. The on-screen distance counter help to assess where a possible damage is located.
The large capacity SD card permit recording of videos – up to 2 hours – to create records for inspector and clients. We always recommend recording pre and post repair videos and/or pictures, as records.
There is also an ability to record audio commentary with built-in microphone. Voiceover recordings have date and time stamp for better record keeping.
The AC and DC power cords for direct power or battery power from a truck will keep the unit running in any environment, and a heavy duty Pelican case protects the command module against any damage.
200 feet of patented Gel-Rod push rod is tough to provide enough push and pull force for inspections of 3” to 10” drain pipes filled with waste water. and a 2”, 3”, and 6” trap skids reduce drag and keep the camera centered.
The push rod has a dual color layer construction, so it is easy to spot any damage on it and repair it, before it becomes a bigger problem. The Kevlar braid, fiberglass core and extra strong sheath furnish extra strength and protection to the push rod.
