Engineered to withstand tough conditions, it can endure drops from 6.60 ft (2 m) and boasts IP67 protection against moisture and debris. The tester uses a non-contact voltage detection system with an antenna enclosed in plastic at the tip. When powered on, the green LED tip illuminates, switching to a red flashing LED and an audible beep that increases in frequency as the voltage level rises. Powered by two 1.5 V AAA batteries, this tester also features a convenient LED flashlight in the tip, an audible disable function for noise-sensitive environments, a lanyard tie-off point, auto power off, and low battery indication.
