Made for surface temperature measurement, this type K low-profile penetration thermocouple probe measures up to 324°F (162°C) from a 304 SS sheath. Furthermore, it has a 0.062" (1.57 mm) diameter, a 60" (1.5 m) cable, and miniature connector. It suits handheld surface and spot-check temperature measurement.

This probe features a low-profile hypodermic tip and convenient handle for short depth penetration of soft materials such as rubber. A grounded junction, 1' (300 mm) of retractable cable [which stretches to 5 (1.5 m)] and a subminiature male connector are standard. The handle is rated to 325°F (162°C).
