OMEGA DRST-CM Offers

The DRST-CM Remote Operator Interface (ROI) allows for local monitoring of process values, device configuration, error detection and signal simulation, adding remote digital communications via Modbus/RTU, while the analog output signals are still available for redundancy. With the DRST-CM you can further expand connectivity with a gateway, which connects via industrial Ethernet, wirelessly through a Wi-Fi router.

Features

  • Communications interface for modification of operational parameters in the drst transmitter
  • Programming display for system DRST devices
  • Remote digital communications via modbus/rtu
  • Modbus RTU protocol interface over RS485
  • Can be moved from one device to another and download the configuration of the first unit to subsequent units
  • Monitor process value from the built-in display
  • When mounted in the process, the display shows process values and device status
  • High 2.5 kV isolation to host unit
  • Programming access can be blocked by assigning a password
  • Shielded RJ45 Modbus connector on top

Applications

  • Drst transmitter configuration
  • Adding Modbus RTU RS-485 serial communications to system DRST signal conditioning units
  • Process value monitoring
  • Converting mA, voltage, potentiometer, Lin. R, RTD and TC sensor signals to a Modbus network line
  • Device error detection
  • Bridging AI, AO, DI and DO signals from an I.S. classified area onto a Modbus network
  • Signal simulation
  • Configuring individual DRST unit operating parameters via the front display menu
  • Remote modbus/rtu communication
  • Reading the process signal, simulating the output signal, and indicating sensor and module errors on the local display
