The Yellow Jacket 67061 YJACK uses Low Energy Bluetooth (BLE) technology to communicate with iOS, Android, and P51-870 Titan devices. This Temperature Clamp features a status indication LED next to the power button, providing feedback on the device's current mode of operation. During normal use, the LED flashes every two seconds to indicate that a measurement has been transmitted via Bluetooth.
For optimal results, ensure the clamp jaws make full contact with the pipe surface and avoid clamping over coated or insulated areas, as this may affect temperature accuracy. If a metal surface is nearby, the rotating mounting magnet on the bottom of the radio module can be attached to it.
