Overview
A digital photo tachometer is one of the most accurate ways to measure the revolution per minute (RPM) of a spinning object. The Reed R7050 tachometer makes safe, non-contact RPM measurements of a rotating object by pointing the built-in laser (2 to 20” away from target area) at reflective tape placed on the object to be measured.
The Reed R7050 also features a digital counter capable of counting moving objects passing through the instrument’s field of view from a distance of 2 to 20”. In addition, the tachometer’s built-in memory is capable of recalling minimum and maximum values as well as last value stored which can be an essential part of keeping track of your data.
The Reed Instruments R7050 has an easy to use 3 button interface, an ergonomic design as well as a rugged durable double molded plastic housing.
The R7050 tachometer operates on a 9V battery with a low battery indicator and auto shut-off. The bright backlit digital display on the tachometer keeps your reading readable in dark environments.
