Overview

The practical and user-friendly Sauermann HVACR Si-PM3 digital differential pressure manometer is a small, lightweight, highly portable instrument with its own carrying bag. The Si-PM3 features an integrated backlit screen, impact-resistant housing, and a magnet for affixing the manometer to a metal wall during measurement.

A technician can view live measurements and automatically calculate air flow and air velocity on an Android or iOS tablet or smartphone using the Si-HVACR Measurement MobileApp.

Good deal

The price on this thing is what made me go for it. Apparently it’s a reputable brand but I hadn’t heard of them. Impressed with the mobile app and the logging and reporting features. It’s hard to imagine getting this kind of tech even a few years ago for so little money. I feel like the performance on discount meters like this has been there for a while but getting the wireless capability too is unprecedented. It’s like all computer stuff, it just gets cheaper and better. Sits well in your hand too which is essential, we’re after performance after all, but it’s something to think about if you’re gonna use it every day. Overall I recommend it

A steal at this price

I feel like this is really inexpensive for everything you get. Love the platform, meaning how it’s shaped and feels, has almost a smart phone feel with being flattened out but is more rugged and has the super strong magnetic backing so you can pop it up on a metal piece of the heater and work hands free. THe app works swimmingly too. Basically a pressure data logger for under 200 bucks and you can also read the results remotely even though the backlit screen is also really nice. I didn't know about Sauermann but I’m really impressed with this manometer. I think I’ll check out there combustion analyzer too pretty soon.
