The Seitron R1 is a heated diode refrigerant leak detector to reliably detects all common refrigerants. The R1 Refrigerant Leak Detector will detect refrigerants CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, HCs, and HFOs. The Seitron refrigerant leak detector uses a heated diode sensor which is more sensitive and less likely to give false positives caused by the presence of other gases. The Seitron Be Cool R1 refrigerant leak detector offers automatic and manual modes to detect the smallest of leaks.

Overview
A refrigerant leak detector is specially designed to detect small leaks in a closed gas system. Refrigerant leakage is one of the main reasons that reduces HVAC performance. The Seitron R1 leak detector warms up in 30 seconds and responds in 3 seconds with a maximum sensitivity of 0.11oz/year.
The Seitron R1 refrigerant leak detector uses a simple 4-button system with reset, mute, power on/off, and adjustable sensitivity. The leak detector features an automatic circuit and resets functions that set the unit to ignore ambient concentrations of refrigerant. The leak detector provides 7 sensitivity levels, and when changing the sensitivity level, the LED screen will display the corresponding sensitivity level.
The refrigerant leak detector features two alarm indicators, an audible and a visual alarm. The audible alarm can be activated or deactivated by pressing the “MUTE” button. In addition, the R1 leak detector has a 16.5 in. flexible probe length that allows detection in difficult and hard-to-reach areas.
