Seitron 7899 Combustible Gas Leak Detector with Field Replaceable Sensor

The Seitron 7899 is a rugged, highly sensitive combustible gas leak detector with a large LED display, scale, and audible beeper to pinpoint small leaks of combustible gas hydrocarbon fuels from any piping and/or appliances. The 7899 portable gas leak detector can be used in a variety of applications including HVAC, residential, commercial, piping, and industrial processes to locate combustible gas leaks.

The Seitron 7899 gas detector will detect combustible gasses including, natural gas, town gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, and gasoline. The 11” flexible probe enables user to quickly and easily detect combustible gas leaks around appliances and hard-to-reach places. The large, easy-to-read LCD displays readings in either ppm, % vol. or % LEL providing the actual amount of combustible gases present.

The Seitron 7899 combustible gas leak detector is designed with the HVAC technician in mind. Audible beep interval adjusts as gas levels rise and fall, helping techs to quickly zero in on leaks. The large, easy-to-read LED gives numeric and virtual analog scale readings for accurate reporting in both PPM and %LEL. The Seitron 7899 has a short warm-up time, and an audible beep to signal instrument is ready. Other features include a press and hold On/Off button to prevent accidental shut-off, selectable auto shut-off time, a hold key, and an auto zero-drift adjustment.

The Seitron 7899 combustible gas detector is ruggedly built to handle daily field use and has a protection rating of IP20. The semiconductor sensor located at the tip of the probe is field replaceable, and the gas leak detector has a low battery level indicator when batteries need to be replaced.
