The Testo 410i might be small, but getting measurements for the supply and return air flow has never been easier or more convenient. Taking a traverse, for example, on any register using the Testo 410i and a smart device with the Smart Probe App can be accomplished quickly and easily. The user starts by choosing which type of measurement reading to use: single, multi-point average or timed average, enters the dimensions of the register and free space on the Smart Probe App, and then moves the probe at a consistent speed and distance from the louvers around the register. Using these steps, the technician will quickly and efficiently be able to get an accurate picture of how this system is operating.
The Testo 410i can be very useful for balancing multi-outlet ventilation systems with the use of several probes, a smart device, and the Smart Probe App. In addition, no air density correction is required due to the design of the probe. The Testo 410i has an air velocity range of 0 to 6000 fpm, can measure volume flow from 0 to 99,999 cfm, and has a temperature range from -4 to 140 °F.
All data can be viewed on the technician’s smart device via Bluetooth by using the free Testo Smart Probe App available on the App and Google Play store. This App allows the technician to remotely read measurements from up to six Smart Probes at distances up to 60’ away. The measurement data is displayed as a list, graph, or in a table format and measurements can be saved as PDF or Excel files. The App will create custom reports which can be saved or shared by email.
