Testo 417 Kit 1 Digital Vane Anemometer
The Testo 417 Kit 1 is a 4-inch vane anemometer that includes the 2-piece funnel kit 1 to quickly and precisely measure flow, volume flow, and temperature at air inlets and outlets of air conditioning and ventilation systems. Measurements are easily read on the anemometer’s 2-line backlit display. Time and point average values, as well as the volume flow, are automatically calculated in the Testo 417 vane anemometer and easily read on the large display. Additional features include a timed mean value calculation, minimum and maximum values, and a hold function. The Testo 417 Digital Vane Anemometer measures air velocity up to 3937 fpm (20m/s), air flow (volume) to 58857 CFM, and air temperature 122 F/ 50 C for HVAC systems installation and maintenance, monitoring airflow equipment, and exhaust monitoring. The Testo Vane Anemometer Kit 1 includes the funnel kit 1 with an 8” round and a 13” square funnel to ensure proper measurement of plate outlets and ventilation grilles.

Overview
Measuring air flow velocities and correctly calculating the volume flow at the ventilation outlet can present a challenge, however, using the Testo 417 Kit 1 Anemometer Funnel Set allows for more convenient and accurate measurements. The flow funnel is ideal for measurements below 50 CFM. The funnel kit is easily assembled and transported to any work site with the carrying case.
The Testo 417 4” vane anemometer paired with the Testo Smart App on your smartphone provides more efficient regulation of balancing residential ventilation systems. For additional convenience, the Testo App on your smartphone can be used to configure the anemometer and display measurements. In addition, the app will store and document the measured value. As a bonus, your smartphone becomes a second display for the measured values.
