The first thing you will notice about this analyzer is that there is no screen. With the prevalence of smart phones and tablets, the need for an active screen for live measurements has become increasingly irrelevant. The DC710 Flue Gas Analyzer has built-in Bluetooth that sends the data to the TPI App on your smart phone in real time. The TPI App can be used to provide on-site reports that can be emailed and stored eliminating paper and the need for a printer.
One great benefit of TPI's analyzers is their use of a 0 to 10,000ppm CO sensor. This use of a larger measuring range sensor more commonly found on a commercial unit instead of a residential gas analyzer is done deliberately. Technicians will often find themselves with a spiked sensor after turning on a boiler or furnace and not be able to perform their tasks until the sensor is cleared out. This is due to the fact that the system is not burning efficiently right when the unit is turned on.
With the 0 to 10,000ppm sensor you will run into this issue a lot less and when you do, the sensor will clear itself and be ready for use a lot faster. This is a tremendous boon for technicians as some units can take up to 1 hour of wasted time waiting on the sensor to clear out and be ready to use.
The DC710 is lightweight (1.1 lbs) and includes a powerful magnet and a hook to give you two options for setting up the analyzer. This keeps the combustion analyzer hands free allowing you to work while the system is recording the data to the app.

TPI FGA App
The TPI FGA App lets you view the measurements from the DC710 live in real time. This is great as it means you do not need to be near the analyzer to see what is going on. The app also records the data and has reporting to generate and email reports back to the office or directly to your customer. You can easily save, email, or print the report with the click of a button. The report also includes the time, date and GPS stamp to document when and where the job was complete. The FGA App is easy to use and intuitively designed as can be seen in the images below.
