The PTM2.0 also has an adjustable pre-programmed temperature correction feature that prevents inaccuracy in moisture readings due to the wood’s temperature.

The meter has a moisture content range of 6-46% for wood, WME reference scale for building materials of 0-100, and a drywall reference scale of 0-8.5 with 0.1% accuracy for all readings. The PTM2.0 has enough internal memory for 100 readings. In addition, the meter will clearly display the maximum, minimum, average, and standard deviation statistics on the screen for the saved readings.

The Tramex moisture meter is very user friendly with its heavy-duty, light-weight aluminum construction, data “hold” function, a large color LCD display with brightness adjustments for low light operation, and a built-in Eco Mode to save battery usage.

The Tramex PTM2.0 has an optional Hammer-action pin-type probe(HA21SP52) for woods of high density or hard to reach areas.

most complete wood moisture meter

It has a huge selection of wood types - hundreds, all readings are more accurate, as they are temperature compensated. I can confirm that, as we had meter from another brand and it was not so accurate, as consecutive readings of the same wood sample gave you different readings. Tramex is super accurate.

Storage a great feature

Holds a bunch of readings so you can do min, max, and avrage calculations. PTM2.0 is really useful.

modern and up to date meter

It's got pins, but this is the only way to get deep and accurate measurements. The library of wood types is amazing, as you can find any type of wood there. Menus are easy to navigate with push buttons and arrows. Readings are very accurate, and you even have integrated calibration checks. Great tool.
