The Trend Network R151006 NaviTEK NT Pro is a network tester for troubleshooting and maintenance of active and passive copper and fiber networks. The NaviTEK NT Pro performs a number of tests to determine as much information as possible about the network and port to which it is connected. The Trend NaviTEK NT Pro can be used for testing optical fiber networks, 802.1x security log-in as well as copper-based Ethernet networks. The Trend NaviTEK NT Pro network tester now includes a touchscreen to offer a more intuitive way of working, helping to save time and increase efficiency on every job.

Overview
The principle operation of the NaviTEK NT Pro copper and fiber network troubleshooter is that it automatically configures itself to match the characteristics of the connected port whether it is an un-terminated cable, a live copper switch port or a live fiber switch port, and runs tests appropriate to that configuration. These tests are designed to give information about the port, such as the switch MAC address and identification, as well as to confirm that the port has been properly configured and is capable of reaching a number of strategic targets in the local network and the Internet. These test may be customized, if necessary.
The NaviTEK NT Pro autotest performs a suite of network test including: Internet connectivity (Ping, DNS, Gateway, Traceroute) and Netscan. After these network tests are run, the results are saved automatically. Allowing a technician to easily move from port to port, fully testing and saving the results from each port.
Once all the required network ports have been tested, the saved reports can be uploaded either using a USB memory key to a PC or via Wi-Fi to a smartphone, for transfer to client databases or to colleagues for further analysis.
The Trend Network NaviTEK NT Pro includes all the features from the NaviTEK NT Basic Tester R153001 and NaviTEK NT Plus R151005 plus fiber network testing.

The Trend NaviTEK NT Pro copper and fiber troubleshooter is compatible with the Trend AnyWARE app which allows a technician to send test data from anywhere using the free app.
Reports are important because they are documented proof that the ports have been tested. The NaviTEK NT Pro network troubleshooter automatically generates test reports in PDF or CSV format. The summary page of each report can be customized to include logo, company and operator details. There are three different reports (summary, brief, and full) that can show either passed, failed or all test reports in each report.
