TSI 9565-A Velocicalc Handheld Digital Air Velocity Meter Articulated Probe

I was looking for a simpler meter, but I read all specs on 9565-a and decided to get it. The meter is expensive, but price is related to all features that come with it. Afterall, I am using it to earn money, so it's ability to do multiple tests and even expand testing range by adding more probes makes it a trully multifunctional tool. Long and articulated probe is very useful too. Now, I have room to offer more higher end services.

Excellent instrument, it can read low velocities with fume hoods.

This is the Ferrari of air velocity meters. Truly the best thing on the market. Rugged (as much as a meter like this can be, don’t go chucking it), US made, certified for accuracy with all the papers to check it yourself. I got this model because it comes standard with the articulated probe, which is marketing-speak for saying it bends 90 degrees at the end. This might seem like a trifle unless you’ve done lots of awkward readings in weird ducting. I don’t know what some builders think when they design stuff but it's up to us to balance the air either way and it helps to have some maneuverability. Also you can switch out the probes for IAQ stuff if you buy those too

In my line of work I need accurate meter. 9565-a is just that, as it comes with NIST. Calibrated instrument makes a difference, as both I and my clients trust data and final reports. I care about test results, but also about building trust with my customers to grow repeatable work requests. Two thumbs up for TSI.

Great product!! Easy to use out of the box, very rugged and the only one to meet professional standards with the accuracy being a % of reading and not Full Scale. A lot of my fellow contractors have had these for 4-5 years with no issues.
