UEi C165 Combustion Analyzer NOx Filter Kit with BlueTooth

The UEi C165BTKIT Combustion Analyzer comes with two K-type temperature probes, an installed  wireless module, award winning EOS technology and high altitude compensation that will directly measure CO, CO2, differential temperature, as well as pressure, and will calculate O2, CO/CO2 ratio, gross/ net combustion efficiency, excess air, and CO air free. HVAC service technicians will use these measurements to analyze, improve, and verify the efficiency and safety of any fueled fired appliance such as boilers, furnaces, and water heater for residential and commercial environments as well as commissioning jobs.

The UEi C165 flue gas analyzer includes many features that are helpful to an HVAC service technician when analyzing the efficiency and safety of an appliance.  The 6-line backlit LCD display allows the technician to easily view test measurements, the rotary dial makes selecting any test easy, and the protective boot with the built in magnets allows for hands free operation. Measurement data can be stores in the 160 memory positions, viewed on the screen or printed with the date and time stamp with the optional IR printer for documentation.

The C165KIT extended life combustion analyzer eliminates the annual calibration and replacement of the 02 sensor by using EOS technology. EOS technology utilizes an electro-optical sensor (EOS) to measure CO2 levels and then uses this value to calculate O2 levels. The EOS sensor uses optical readings that keep the sensor from physical contact with the gas, thus prolonging its life greatly (up to 10 years).

The C165BTKIT has a dilution pump which helps to protect the CO sensor (NOx filtered) from high concentration that otherwise might damage the sensors. It can also measure CO levels in ambient air- useful when a CO alarm is triggered as well as perform a room CO test for up to 30 minutes duration.

CO2 is set to zero in fresh air automatically after the initial countdown. The countdown varies between 90 and 60 seconds dependent on ambient temperature. It is important that re-zeroing is done in outside fresh air as indoor CO2 levels are affected by human breath.

The UEi C165BTKIT will also perform a Commissioning Test to measure CO level and CO/CO2 combustion ratio and record those figures (assuming they are within expected tolerance) in order to complete the appropriate commissioning document. This process gives both the customer and the registered commissioning engineer evidence that the boiler has been left in a safe and efficient working condition.
