This is a really great little unit for balancing an AC system. Takes the temperature and velocity measurements at the duct with a relatively large vane for big range. Yellow Jacket quality to boot. Recommend.
run of hte mill
Considering the quality Yellow Jacket usually puts out i found this one to be a little lacking. Not a fan of the connection for the vane probe. I haven't had issues yet but i fear i can damage the input.

I try to keep the same company for all my tools. Makes it easier when it comes time to buy new gear. Yellow Jacket makes great prodcuts and they really understand the HVAC industry. Very accurate anemometer.
You get what you pay they say. A double edged sword for sure as this isnt the cheapest anemometer but it is the quality you expect from a brand like YJ. Solid construction, good results, just wish it cost a bit less but good sale prices on this site.
