The Yellow Jacket AccuProbe II is an easy to use refrigerant leak detector that uses an exclusive Heated Electrochemical Sensor Technology (HES) to detect refrigerants such as HFCs, HCFCs, and CFCs including the SNAP approved hydrocarbon blends with minimal false alarms. This leak detector is perfect for any HVAC technician servicing refrigeration, A/C units, or automotive refrigeration systems to quickly find leaks and repair them.

The AccuProbe II ranges in sensitivity from 0.03 oz. / year for R-22, 0.06 oz. /year for R-134A to 0.15 oz. / year for 1234yf type refrigerants. The Freon leak detector has an audible signal when a high concentration of refrigerant is found. When locating leaks, it is important to remember that the leak detector responds to changes in refrigerant concentration. To hone in on a leak, the technician should move the probe away from the area of the leak, let the sensor reset to the ambient air, and then bring it back to verify the source of the leak.
The HVAC refrigerant leak detector has three selectable levels of sensitivity lo, norm, and high to help pinpoint the exact location of the leak. In addition, the refrigerant leak detector has automatic calibration and will automatically reset to the ambient air.
The AccuProbe II probe is 17” long and has a sensor that provide over 300 hours of service life with minimal cleaning and no adjustment. The leak detector is operated by four AA batteries and has a low battery indicator. The Yellow Jacket 69354 is proudly made in the USA.
